Gamma Line Is My Choice When Bass Fishing!
Several years ago, I was in a pinch for fishing line. I was running very low and needed to replentish my supply. I went into the Cabelas in Hamburg, PA and purchased some Gamma Copolymer Line. My normal brand was not available there and I NEEDED line!
I had become very partial to copolymer line for my river smallmouth bass fishing. I spooled my Shimano Symetre reels with 8 lb. Gamma and headed out on my next guided trip on the Delaware River. Man was I impressed! Line twist is always an issue when fishing soft plastics in river environments. With the Symetre reels, and especially with the Gamma line, my line twist issues are drastically less than what they once were! Gamma Line is abrasion resistant, making it a perfect choice when fishing jigs in rocky rivers. And it is low stretch and low memory.
