Fishing Line and Reel Tip

If you're like me, you don't always take your rods and reels out of the boat or truck.  I'm kind of forgetful and have lots of good intentions.......and when I park the boat and truck at the end of a long day of fishing, the rods get neglected.

Here's a tip.  Spray your Gamma copolymer line or any monofilament, braided or fluorocarbon lines with Blakemore's Real Magic prior to storing reels with line on them.  When it's cold, this will help minimize line memory.  After my reels set for a time during cold weather, I'll spray Real Magic on the spool just prior to fishing again to soften the line and lessen memory.  this allows my line to be more castable.  And during warm months, spray the line with Reel Magic to condition the line before using.  Real magic is also great for lubing my Shimano reels before heavy use when I don't want to take them apart and lube them!  Now Real Magic also sells a reel lube for lubing gears and inner reel parts!  Will this motivate me to lube more?  Wait and see!

These are just a few uses for Real Magic, but they will help maintain both your reels and the line on them!

Good fishin!

Does this spray interfer with the fish in that it leaves an odor or residue that the fish dislike and won't bite or take the lure? I've heard this about suntan lotion, and other products. Thnx in advance.

      Hello:

This sunscreen is a lotion.  It is almost completely odorless.  Their tag line is "Dri-Grip Fishing Sunscreen.....Does not repel fish!"  It goes on very easily and dry.  And it is live well safe.  really good stuff!  Thx.
